TimTinhTran: thank you so much : and thanks for sharing, i appreciate it very much. may peace be with you.TimTinhTran: right after the i think 3rd grasping the birds tail, before fist under elbow, isnt there suppose to be a single whip, hmm i was taught that, but the few videos i have seen dont have it :o confusing. anyone know if its just preference theirs looks like almost a single whip, but not.
paddyufc: absolutely beautifull ive recently started learning yang style to compliment other arts and watching this reminds me why thankyoudomyaska: thanks a lo for sharingt excellent video and teacher.
TheGuvnah68: i learned the wu style first, but everyone has told me that the yang style was the one to learn first. your video proves them right. it's very grounded, and shows the hard soft dichotomy of tai chi much better than the other styles. your demonstration is a real motivation for me to learn this style, sifu. thank you.krestanol: i used to learn tai chi, but when i came to advanced group, it started to be little bit boring for me. so after some time, i stopped to do tai chi. and now, one year later i realised, it was big mistake. so i am trying to recall the moves. thank you, your video is very useful for me : it helps me to remember :
guanlyechua: this is a very inspiring execution of the form fluid, subtle, and soft yet "strong" and looks very grounded. it is such an immense pleasure to watch, and to aspire to. thank you very much for sharing your experience, sifu.tango0902: thank you sifu for you insight, i will look for that book. again thank you for your insight. andew
tango0902: sifu, i have noticed that when you do the "press" move that your wrists don't touch whilst pressing. is there any reason why better chi flow maybe andrewtango0902: i have decided to learn this traditional yang style. i have studied beijing tai chi but this style looks more fluid, warmer and less rigid as the beijing style. wish me luck everyone. andrew
tango0902: my friend said once" the slower you go the more skillful one becomes. in stillness wisdom is born"racerchick1127: congrt compare the performance infront of wudong temple this is much much better. thank. keep up the good work.
KathleenQi: very beautiful. what music are you playing. i have taken tai chi off and on for some years and your 108 is different than what i learned and i like it very much. i like the fluid way you move with slow speed and even height. wonderfulvogday: you make it look easy which i know it isn't. i'm 60 how hard is it to remember all those steps i know everyone is different but on an average how long does it take to learn one exercise routine
Mschiav0: by the principles of tai chi chuan: yi man sheng kuai: "with slowness quickness is defeated" dong zhong qui jing: "strive for calmness whilst in action" the execution at a lower speed facilitates the understanding of each moviment and its flow of energy, i.e., instructional in this perspective. slow performance is in total coherence with the classic philosophy of tai chi. abracao de sao paulo brasilMschiav0: that's very well recorded, slow paced, with instructional objective and cleaningness of each movement achieved. recommended thank you very much
slee0722: it is apparent that you take the time to read all the comments made on your numerous videos, sifu. what is admirable, though, is that you respond to those who have questions as if they are your students. your generous and open spirit is a gift for all of us.wudangmtn: thank you very much sir. i will follow your advice.
wudangmtn: great video it makes me relaxed just watching it. thank you. i am presently learning the 24 and 42 forms: would it be beneficial for me to practice these forms as slowly as you do the 108 form thanks againannimarcus: skillful integration of internal external. a beautiful demo. mahalo sifu

About Katsuoh Yamamoto: I happened up on this footage of Katsuoh, it brought back many found memories. In Gadsden Master Yuki Koda was my first Sensei the 2nd was Kawano Masukatsu -(sp). Master Yamamoto awarded me my Ist Dan in 1982, Black Belt #164. Shortly before he came to my house and sang us a song, over many beverages, about Sumiko. I have always treasured those memories.
