dacheng: yiquan was developed from xingyiquan hsing i chuan , which is classified as one of the 3 so called internal arts. however yiquan's founder maintained that this classification is not valid. and his successor said: "yiquan is not internal or external, it doesn't belong to shaolin or wudang".

	About Katsuoh Yamamoto: I happened up on this footage of Katsuoh, it brought back many found memories. In Gadsden Master Yuki Koda was my first Sensei the 2nd was Kawano Masukatsu -(sp). Master Yamamoto awarded me my Ist Dan in 1982, Black Belt #164. Shortly before he came to my house and sang us a song, over many beverages, about Sumiko. I have always treasured those memories.
